Kay Yeager Coliseum
Totally climate-controlled, the versatility of the Kay Yeager Coliseum will provide facilities for a variety of events
which now includes dog agility in June. At the direction of the Obedience Training Club of Wichita Falls, the
crew of MPEC brings in truck loads of dirt for the agility floor, and they groom it each day of the trial, which
makes for a wonderful running surface for the dogs.
The Coliseum features the following specifications:
120' x 250' arena floor
Permanent seating for 6500 people
250 RV spots with electric and water hook-ups
Easy access to all levels of the Coliseum
Handicap-Accessibility
Large overhead doors at each end of the long
axis to provide ingress and egress for a host of events.

RV parking on site:
Over 250 RV spots are available at the MPEC complex with
water and electricity with a dump station about mile away at a
city-owned RV park by the river. The sites are $17 per night
(first come, first served). Personnel from the J.S. Bridwell center
will hook up exhibitors and collect the fees.
Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs
immediately on hotel/motel and show grounds. Motels/hotels
require that dogs be crated when unattended; no bathing or grooming of
dogs in guest rooms. Exhibitors/handlers are responsible for any
damages to motels/hotels or the event site and may result in disciplinary
action by the Trial Committee. Entries may be refused in the future for
previous misuse of the motel facilities. This is an AKC-supported
measure.
PLEASE REMEMBER: Hotels do not have to allow us to keep our
dogs in the rooms. We are all responsible for insuring future pet
acceptance at our favorite hotels. Pease clean up after your dogs
(inside and outside), keep them quiet so as not to disturb other
guests, and generally be considerate of others. We all want to
continue to have nice places to stay when we travel with our dogs.
